Dear Parents, Week two is almost over. Our pace is slow right now as we have focused on classroom and school procedures but I promise we will pick up the speed soon. Please help your child get into a regular practice schedule with their instrument. I do not expect students to practice on the days we are here on campus for rehearsals but I do expect they work independently at home 3-4 times a week.   Dear Parents, Our awards night is Thursday, May 13th at 7pm in the courtyard of Sahuarita High School. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to find a seat and be ready for the evening. Dear Parents, Thank you for attending our concert last Thursday evening, I am so proud of  how everything came together and sounded so nice. This has been the most unusual year ever and we have all learned such different ways to prepare music. Our awards banquet is Thursday, May 13th at 7pm here on the lawn of the high school. This is our yearly tradition with a few changes. We are limiting the number of guests for each student, we will not have a meal this year and we will ask you to wear a mask even though the event is outside. [...]

Dear Parents, Our concert is Thursday, April 29th at 6pm in the Auditorium. Each student is allowed four guests to attend the concert. It does not matter the age of the guest each person counts; for example if you have a 6month old baby they count as a person. Our concert will also be provided via live streaming for your friends and family that are not in person. I will provide that information next week. Parents, Our jazz band is getting ready for our concert on Thursday, April 29th, at 6pm in the auditorium. This concert is shared with the concert band and should last about 45-60 minutes, we WILL have an audience and we look forward to you joining us for the event.
