Dear Parents,
We have completed our fall semester with great accomplishments to our program. Thank you for allowing your child to be part of our music program. The students have worked hard and now it is time for some relaxation.
As we look forward to second semester please keep track of things as follows:

January will be about individual music growth, students will work on new concert literature in class and have opportunities to work ahead by participating in regional auditions and all-state jazz auditions. We will have a student teacher in our classroom all of second semester, I am pleased to announce Nathan Ksiazek to our classroom, he has been assisting the program off and on for the last two years.
Please continue to make payments for our Spring Travel to San Antonio, Texas, everyone should be paid in full by February. Please continue to email me receipts to forward to our front office for your child’s account.
Our first day back to school on January 7th will include a performance at the new school Wrightson Ridge Elementary School. The students received a yellow info sheet on Tuesday, December 18th with all the details. Please be aware we begin at 6:30 AM on that day but we will return to school by 8:30am.
Our newly formed Winter Indoor Percussion will be holding camp during winter break, Mr. Cervenka is the coach of that team, please direct all questions about Indoor Percussion to him.
