Dear Parents,
It has been a journey but this marching band season isn’t over yet. We have made it and our last performances for the DeComposer’s Show will happen this week. We will also take time to honor our Veteran’s for several performances. Please visit the website calendars and classroom handouts for details. This week will be very busy.
Week at a Glance
Monday – LAST marching rehearsal 5:45-8:45
Tuesday – Winter Drumline MPH (open to all students)
Wednesday – LAST marching percussion/flag rehearsal 2:40-5:20
Thursday – POWER Pack Pep band performance 5:30pm -8pm (no flags)
Friday –
- SIS performance 9am-10:15am for Veterans Ceremony
- 12:20pm DeComposer Show Performance for SIS and SMS
- rehearsal 3:30-5pm
- 5-6pm watch WGHS rehearsal on our field
- 6pm pizza dinner for SHS and WGHS bands combined
- Send Off Show 7pm tell your family, friends, and neighbors
Butterbraid orders will be ready for pick up as early as 2pm Friday, this fundraiser is temperature sensitive, please make plans for pick up prior to 4pm and get them back info the freezer. We will have pick up available in the choir room by 2pm5-
Saturday – AzMBA State Championships! 8am, perform 12;15, return 6:30pm yellow paper
Monday, Nov. 12th (no school) noon performance at the Legion for Veteran’s Day, in uniform arrive at 11:30, depart by 1pm (lunch provided)
Parent Help Needed:
Friday, we need 2 parents to pass out uniforms at 8am-8:30am and come back to hang them up 1pm-1:30pm, please let me know if you are available either or both days. You are welcome to stick around for both performances if you would like to.
Friday – Butterbraid orders need to be picked up between 2-4pm from the choir room
