Dear Parents,
Great Effort by our students on Saturday at the U of A, we placed 4th out of 17 schools. I am very pleased with our progress. At this point we will have the biggest impact in our performance with the following details:
1. Individual growth in the music – practice at home, attend sectionals during MPH
2. Attendance in night rehearsals – tonight and Friday
Football season has come to an end, we have two weeks left until marching band season ends. It is important to finish strong, that means that we are cleaning our show and working out a few visuals that will enhance the final product. Please make sure your child is present at every rehearsal, this is crucial to our success in norming everyone to the same style of movement and music interpretation.
Parent Help Needed for our Show – parents we need every family to participate in our Show host on Nov. 6th please sign up below, we will be making parent calls on Wednesday if we have not been able to fill all the slots. This event is a booster fundraiser and needs every family to support this amazing event. We even have slots for other students. If you have a child that is at least 14 and would like to work a session, we need their help. Please have them sign up under (NO SHS BAND).

Week at a Glance:
Monday – 5:45-8:45 Rehearsal
Friday – ButterBraid pick-up TBA but I am guessing 3-4pm then students will return for rehearsal from 5:15-9pm “Flannel Spirit Night”
Saturday – We Host our I-19 Showdown, Students will report at 1:15pm, perform 7:36, 11pm Dismissal after clean up
Nov. 11 – Veterans Day – we will perform at the Legion TBA 11am….
Nov. 12 – Send off Show 7:15pm Here
Nov. 13 – State, Buckeye AZ
