Dear Parents,

Homecoming is a busy week for every high school student, teacher and parent. I reflect on each year the school spirit and camaraderie that is made here at Sahuarita High School. Please bare with us on a very busy week for the students and community. Our email fundraiser is going great as of noon today we have raised $2500! Please continue to update and add contacts to the email. This fundraiser will finish paying for our new trailer for marching band and other supplies for the show including cables for the sound system. Our goal for this fundraiser is $7000.00

Week at a Glance:
Monday – rehearsal 5::45-8:45, Parent Meeting 5:45-6:30 followed by booster meeting if you can stay
Tuesday – NA (substitute for school, I have a doctor appointment)
Wednesday – perc./flag rehearsal 2:45-5:20
Thursday – NA
Friday – homecoming parade 9:15am, assembly, then game pm. Students will need to arrive by 7;30am to dress into uniform and ride the shuttle to the bus barn for the parade. (we will need 2-3 parents from 7:30am-11am please)

Monday, September 17th we will have a travel meeting focused on fundraising and how to pay for your child’s travel to San Antonio. 5:45pm in the band room, don’t miss out, I have lots of helpful ways to pay for this once in a lifetime event.

Curriculum:
Students will have reteach on Star Spangled Banner and Part II of the show during MPH if they received less than 70% on the playing exam (check power school). Students have received their next objective sheet, it is due for full credit on Friday, September 28. Students should plan to complete one objective a day to complete the sheet with ease and full credit.

Parent Needs:
If you have not yet donated a case of water for your child please do so as soon as possible, we use a lot of water this time of year. If you have not paid for your child’s class fee it is due. Please send money with your child to school or stop by the front office to take care of the cost between 7:30am-2:15pm.
We need 2-3 parents for homecoming in the morning of Friday, Sept. 21 please let me know if you can make it. Your help will be needed to hand out uniforms, water during the parade and collecting uniforms at the end of the assembly.
