Dear Parents,
Homecoming is a great way to celebrate a school and the school community.This next week, the week before fall break is Homecoming and our first competition! The students have been working so hard since July, now we get to put forth our efforts in many performances and competitions.
Week at a Glance
Friday, Sept. 24 – Game Day! wear the blue band shirt to school 4:30 – tailgate, 5pm uniforms, 7pm game!
Monday, Sept. 27 – Rehearsal 5:45-8:45 – Show Host Committee Meeting 7:45pm meet at the football field concession stand
Tuesday, Sept 28 – Choir, Orchestra, Jazz Band Concert in the auditorium at 6pm
Friday, Oct. 1 – Homecoming Game Day! wear the blue band shirt to school parade/assembly during the morning 4:30 – tailgate, 5pm uniforms, 7pm game!
Saturday, Oct. 2nd – Our first show of the season at Sabino HS. Purple paper with all the details sent home yesterday with your child
We do not have any commitments during fall break, once we return from our competition at Sabino HS at 10:30pm Saturday the 2nd we are free to relax for the entire week! Enjoy your time away from school and school commitments!
Parent Help needed:
Parent Help Sept. 24 – Tailgate parents, please arrive at the choir room gate at 3:30 to set up and cook for dinner,
Uniforms please arrive by 5pm to assist in the uniform room,
Field Crew please arrive to the band room no later than 6:30 to help move things to and from the field.
