Dear Parents,
I hope you all enjoy a little bit of a break from schedules and recharge your batteries. I have been doing the same for a couple of our days as well. Thank you to Mr. Alex Boerner for completing the build outs inside the new trailer, this will make loading and unloading much easier.
Week At A Glance:
Oct. 12 – 10am – 9pm (like band camp) students should bring a lunch, we will provide dinner! Bring warm clothes and options if it rains, weather permitting our schedule will be as followed: 10-12 outside, noon to 5 inside, 6-9 outside
Oct. 13th 8am arrive, 11:45am perform at U of A, 4pm arrive at SHS and go home
Monday Oct. 15 – Rehearsal 5:45-8:45
Tuesday Oct. 16 – Band council assisting at SMS (3:34-5pm)
Wednesday Oct. 17 – 2:40-5:20 percussion/guard
Thursday Oct. 18 – Student Prop help day (optional 3:30-5pm)
Friday Oct. 19 – Rehearsal 4:30-9pm Section Theme Night
Saturday Oct. 20 – Flowing Wells HS (blue sheet) 8:45am-5pm
Curriculum
We will begin our final objective sheet for the semester, please check with your child as to what music objectives they need to master in playing and other activities.

Fundraising – Butterbraid is coming up the week of October 22nd, this will be one of our last big fundraisers for the semester. Great Job on the Email fundraiser, I will have an exact reports of winners and prizes when we return from break, thank you to everyone who participated.
Help Needed:
If you can donate anything from the following list please send it in by October 18th: bags of cobwebs, bags of plastic bones or skulls, and large spiders, basically anything that we can use for field props and it can be seen from the bleachers.
