Dear Parents,
Marching band post season continues! We have made it to the last level of AzMBA finals, please note that all performances will be held in the Phoenix Area till the end of the season. Now that we have very little new material it is super important that your child spend time practicing their music and showing up to scheduled practice. We need to norm our styles and work consistent style. Monday your child will bring home a Green handout for this coming Saturday at Campo Verde HS in Gilbert.
Week at a Glance:
Monday – 5:45-8:45pm Rehearsal we need 100%
Tuesday – NA
Wednesday – NA
Thursday – Power Pack Basketball Gold Shirt, arrive at SHS 5:15-8pm (district fundraiser)
Friday Day – Veterans Performance in the Auditorium 9am (concert black), SMS Send off Performance (uniform) 12:15pm (blue band shirt)
Friday Evening – Rehearsal 3:30- 5:30pm, dinner provided then Send Off Show at 7:15 invite Family and Friends!
Saturday – 12:15pm report, 3:45 warm-up, 4:45 perform, 12:30am return to SHS (gold band shirt)
Sunday – American Legion (by Triple Play) 11:15am report dressed, perform at NOON, (blue band shirt)
We will NOT know if we make the finals until awards announced at 9:30pm on Saturday. At that time we will know if we need to return on SUNDAY, November 10th to perform at the Mesa Community College Stadium after the American Legion performance.
