Dear Parents,
This past week has been very rewarding and exhausting at the same time. Thank you for getting your child up and off to school every day. We have been making music as a full ensemble and preparing for our concert on April 29th. This week I have added Sight Reading Factory back into our assignments. Students will receive the assignment on Monday and it is due by Wednesday for full credit. Late credit will continue until Saturday of that same week. These assignments only take 5-15 minutes for students to complete.
We will also ask students to resume additional practicing at home this week as we need to get ready for our concert! Students should practice 3-4 times in a seven day period for 20-25 minutes each time, in preparation for the concert. Please help your child create a regular routine for these last 5 weeks of school. Students need to continue to bring and wear their school issued PPE masks and covers for their instruments. This is important for the safety of everyone.

April 29th – CONCERT 6pm Auditorium, limited seating but yes we can have an audience and we will send out a video as well
May 13th – Awards and Banquet for the students and their family 7pm at SHS, we will send more info soon SAVE the DATE!

Band Camp July 15-16 & 19-23 8am-9pm
