I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Below is some important information regarding the upcoming week.

Week at a glance
Monday, December 2 – Rehearsal 5:30-8:30 – I understand that there is a concert band rehearsal right after school. Students will not have time to leave campus for dinner before indoor percussion rehearsal. We will have a short amount of time to eat around 5:30.

Wednesday, December 4 – Rehearsal 5:30-8:30 – I need a few students to stay after school to help me with some instrument maintenance.

Payments/Fees
Please don’t forget that the $50 PTP fee and uniform fee are due Monday, December 11. The $125 contribution is due on January 6th. Here is a simplified breakdown.

$50 PTP – December 11 (you cannot use tax credit, must pay in the front office)
$125 Uniform – December 11 (cannot use tax credit, must pay in front office)
$125 Contribution – January 6 (can use tax credit, or pay to boosters directly)

IMPORTANT: Please email or send via remind a picture of the receipt for any and all payments, tax credits, and donations. While our district is great at bookkeeping, sometimes human error occurs and tax credits go to the wrong place!

We are blessed to have so much support from the district, our boosters, and Mrs. Garcia, but as we continue to grow, we have surmounting equipment needs to make sure everyone has instruments to play. Please reach out to your friends and families and consider making contributions to Sahuarita Instrumental Music!

Lastly, we are short one synth player. If anyone knows someone with a solid piano background, please reach out to me ASAP! If we don’t find someone soon I have to move someone off their spot to play the part.
