Rehearsals this week:
It is extremely important that parents are ready to pick up their child at the end of their section’s rehearsal. We have staggered start/end times to maximize social distancing.
Monday, December 14
Mallets – 5:00-7:00 (in front of gym)
Cymbals & Rhythm 5:15-7:15 (behind choir room)
Battery – 5:30-7:30 (tennis courts)
Wednesday, December 16
I would like to start this rehearsal earlier because of finals, I will ask the members tomorrow night if a 4:00 start will work for everyone. If not, we will rehearse the same times as Monday.
Looking ahead for Camp (12/30, 12/31, 1/1, 1/2)
I have a meeting with our Athletic Director on Thursday to discuss our options for camp and what it is going to look like. Our winter camp is where we will learn the bulk of our show. Tentatively, I have changed the camp schedule to 9-6 all four days since we will most likely be outside. I will send a final itinerary about camp on Thursday evening.
Rehearsal Etiquette
We have been doing an excellent job of distancing, sanitizing, and wearing masks at all times. I appreciate that everyone is taking the precautions so seriously when they’re on campus. I ask that you continue with this diligence so we can keep our rehearsal privileges.
Please make sure you have a binder with sheet protectors at all rehearsals! This week we will hand out packets with show music and warm-ups; the wind will take them away if they’re not nestled away in their sheet protectors!
Fees
Please make sure you have paid the $50 PTP in the front office. The $100 Uniform/Apparel fee is not due until the start of the next semester.

Tis the season to contribute to the success of our programs with a Tax Credit donation!
As always, please make sure you designate SHS > Fine Arts Programs > Indoor Percussion and send Mrs. Garcia and myself a receipt. You can do this online (link below), or print out a form and turn it into the front office. Share this information with friends, extended family, and on your social media! If they live in AZ, they can contribute and get up to $400 (joint) back on their upcoming tax return!
