Hello all,

The season is well underway and we have made great strides in the show! A few things for the upcoming week…

1. I am ordering show-shirts this week. This is included in the Pay-to-Play fee so there is no additional cost to the students. If parents or supporters would like to purchase a shirt for themselves, the cost is $15. It is a black dri-fit shirt with the SHS Mustang logo on the front, and the show title and student names on the back. Please let me know via email with sizes by Wednesday if you’d like me to add you to the list.

2. Please remember that since we are using the middle school gym through February 9 that we meet at the band room at 5:00 to push equipment to the middle school.

3. Tutoring starts on Monday. If your child is on the ineligibility list, or the warning list, they need to attend tutoring in the library Mondays from 3:30-4:30 and Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30. Students staying to wait for rehearsal should also utilize this opportunity to do homework!

4. If you have not paid for your uniform and have not made an arrangement with me, please do so ASAP. I cannot place the order until they have been paid.

5. Monday, January 21 is floor painting day from 8:00-8:00. This is mandatory for all members as we will also be rehearsing while paint dries. Please consider donating paint rollers (with or without poles), baby powder, and blue painters tape! Also, sending your child with a broom and mop would be extremely helpful.

6. Our first performance EVER is at the SMS assembly on Friday, January 25. That itinerary will be sent out next week.

7. Practice. Practice. Practice!!!
