I got really excited when I got the information for Phase 2 and I wanted to notify everyone of the schedule change ASAP. Below is more clarification on what Phase 2 means for us.
This Weekend
Saturday we will still rehearse as scheduled. Battery/Cymbals 9:30-11:30 and Front Ensemble is 10:00-noon.
Monday, we will all start at 11:00am and end at 8:00pm. Meal break will be at 3:00pm. Nobody is permitted to leave campus for the break, so please make sure you bring a meal.
Phase 2 Guidelines
- Masks at ALL TIMES
- Bring your own water
- We will still rehearse outside
- 6ft apart at all times (I wrote our drill to accommodate this in performance as well)
- Temperature checks
Safety is always our number 1 priority. The only change is that we will be able to practice for longer periods each day, and are now in larger groups. We will still remain in cohorts of battery (15) and front ensemble (12).
Everyone has been doing a great job of staying their 6-ft apart at all times, and I thank you for your flexibility. The schedule is updated on our calendar sahuaritamusic.org/indoor
I’m excited to march drill on Monday! We will have the entire opener done by Monday night! I will also remind everyone at Saturday morning’s rehearsal.
